^ Ahh....Bathurst.  One of my favorite race tracks.  Ranks up there with the old Spa and the Ring in my book.

Jr. was wrong, Ill admit that. But, I can't say that he was completely at his fault, and I can understand that the rules can play a factor in this one. When Vickers, pushed him down, that was legal, when Jr. went up to get back above the line, that was legal. The only problem was that Vickers was there. I know that J. didn't do it intentionally, according to what his interview said, during the rain delay/ end of race. What Waltrip said as well, Jr. doesn't lie, he tells you exactly what he thought about the situation and he will admit if he was wrong.

It wasn't a wreck until Jr turned right. At that point there was nothing Vickers could do but hold on.
Watch the replay! Still say both were wrong. But the 83 car didnt lose control when he put his left corner panel all over the 88.

Why someone gave. Then 88 put his right front same place and phew! And quote DW. You don't think he wasn't a bad tempered racer in his day pff.

There was contact as Vickers went to block, yes.  But if you look at any of the other laps run there was contact all over the place, nature of the beast.  The reason Vickers didn't sping initially is because Jr. was trying to avoid the contact.  When he came back up he just gave it to him and around he goes.

I'm sure theirs a few drivers that could of caught the back end from snapping. :aok but I know its not easy at that speed.
