So you have witnessed the cunning "run away" tactic.   Again that looks very similar to the "get separation, then reverse" tactic.   It should not be confused with the "pilot wound, autopilot" tactic.   Or the "I just soiled my pants after seeing opponents manuever" tactic.

I caught Alpha last night using the earlier comments about throttle control.    Was attacking A9 in F6F hvy working over ords, to save our carrier.   Involved egress from target after each drop or straffing run.   Noticed he had upped a Yak and was boring in on my nether regions after I had finished last of 4 runs.   I pulled high g's, chopped throttle, and started pounding out the flaps, he closed to within 150 but could not get angle and overshot.   I started series of near stall scissors and finally got on his tail during a low yo- yo.   Was amazed it was him when he exploded and the kill was posted.   There was much joy on the squad channel as he is a consistent scourge to our efforts.

lol ya 2oclock in the morning when evers good for you. maybe you need some help too with those high flying trainers  :aok

lol I was chatting more with cobia and few other on team channel and not flying much or paying attention. Was fun watching some spout how good they are .... when shooting down unmanned planes. hehehe
