joystick problems

My joystick is not being recognized by aces high its a microsoft sidewinder precision 2 my CPU recognizes it but when i go to aces high map

controllers it only has the mouse. I tried a reboot and still nothing its plug and play. Any ideas?

I had the same problem today I had to reboot the game then it recognized my x-52. I also had to recalibrate it to get it to work... dont know what the problem was but it was an easy fix,

kilo have u tried rebooting the game to see if it will work???


Also is there anything else the game may pick up as a controller ...IE  control pad such as a ps3 game pad connected to ur com, cuz if so it must be disconnected and the game rebooted.

Did you calibrate the joystick in Windows?

Also note, if you are running with any power saving options enabled in Vista, you will have problems like this.
