A system built by someone who knows what they are doing is the best.  Wal-Mart specials will not get you far with anything more than word processing.  I build on average about 6-8 custom rigs a year for friends and normally 1 for myself.  Just got done building one last week.  Be prepared to spend some money though.  People want the Wal-Mart price for the custom rig quality.  Unless the person building them is losing money, that won't happen.

GL Cap.  If you can't get ahold of tildeath for some reason, shoot me a pm I will get on the phone with ya and see if I can help.

Goes for anybody else too.  I will help if I can.

hhmm...i might take you up on that before i go buying another new system. gary knows his stuff well. i think the problem might be though, that he's not familiar with this game though.

if i can't get this one to work, then i'll be callin td to build me a kickass system,,,,,,i need all the help ingame that i can get.
thanks!

I bought one from TilDeath as well, I can't give the man enough praise.

If you're going to buy a machine, even or even build one yourself, talk to TilDeath first.

I gave him a shot at building one a little later this year...I start pricing and reading reviews about 6 months to a year before dropping $1500-$2000 on a system...and without much of a wait Rich came back and said that he could not compete with the current pricing on some of the items and then he gave me some suggestions to check for alternate components since he had some bad experiences with a few of the items I was asking for. For that reason alone I would probably buy something from him in the future or at least ask him to quote me first before I build another.

I don't think you will get any more straight advice from any magazine or review than you would Tildeath. Just my humble opinion from what I've seen on the forums. However, it never hurts to be educated.

Personaly I like building my own machines. I learn so much and it really is my baby.
