You can mix and match but stick with at least a CH combat stick or better.

You can find some great deals on peds, throts and CH sticks on Ebay

just be sure you are getting USB stuff on ebay. A lot of people sell the old analog stuff and then you get it home and find out you can't program it any more. Provantage.com has the best prices most times and they are a top notch site to do business with.

This has come up before, but I have a question. Basically most of you seem to be saying that side by side, you can tell the difference between saitek and CH? Its that noticable ?

It's as noticable of a difference between a Ford Pinto and a Porsche 911.

I love my CH stuff, but it is pricey. I went with the Saitek pedals though, because the CH pedals seemed a little too close together for my size 13's.

That is funny.  The CH joysticks are made for people with large hands, and the rudder pedals for tiny feet. :lol

I am not joking when I say this...the sticks were molded to fit Chuck Hayes (owner/founder of CH) hands and the pedals his feet.

I use a piece of Styrofoam that is glued to the side of the stick to prop my up a little higher on the stick.
Works fine and after a few hours mold to the shape of your hand resting on it.  :aok

To illustrate my point about bullet dispersal from unintended inputs... any of you Saitek users please post video if you have a better pattern than in this film (a headshot). Forgive me ace pilot you were just the last one in a film I made like this.

I use the X-52 and ch pro peddles and they work great together, and unlike some people that have trouble with the x-52, I have never had problems with mine and I been using them for almost 2 years now.

Difference Is saitek swings like the old Thrustmaster rudder pedals yes I still own a set. :P I think CH would give a bit more precision but I can understand where your coming from. Can always get some of those realistic pedals that cost like 300 bucks alone (best on the market most likely) I'm sure someone knows the name.

Looks like nose mounted guns.  What were you flying and what does it have to do with which stick you use?

You can't do that with a twisty stick what hes saying Is he made the shot and still didn't ram him and he was flying sideways. :p
