Salute to My squaddies
« on: February 21, 2009, 07:06:38 PM »
Hi guys if you were on FSO you would know that the Claim Jumpers flew to A107 and flattened it.

I was in the Fighter escort and I can say without any shadow of a doubt it was some of the best flying, Fighting and Organization ive seen in a squad.

I accounted for three Yaks Shot Down and 1 hell of a fight to the end. Ending up on the deck in  a KI84 with 5 yaks coming down on me and my wingman, with us trying to RTB.

BUT my acheivements on this FSO have been nothing compared to the wing commanders.

Dashe organized us into formations and sections and commanded us with excellent C&C. He kept the fighters with the bombers and made damn sure that none of them were lost and He achieved that Reaching the end of the FSO without a single bomber casulty and a few fighter Casulties (most scewing up the landing) me being 1 of them (as usual :D ).

Jwilds The scout squadron leader (my flight leader) Led us with a tenacity that was so great that Besides Myself and my wingman Latinman all of the fighters RTBed succesfully. Our section accounted for most of the Yaks and Stopped them from getting near the main Formation ( we didnt want dashes jockeys to hog them ;) ) and scared most of them off. His engine management and Formation instructions helped us maximize the KIs abilities and he deserves a Digital Medal of Honor for the achievement he pulled off.

And finally  Racdogg who had finally got time off work to run FSO with us ran an incredible bomber formation even though he had a hard day. His formation was tight and well organized and it was suicide to Roll through that formation due to its gun coverage. His drop and procedure was so well done that the base was BLOWN TO HELL and back and thanks to his organizational skill co-ordinated fighters and bombers with dashe and Didnt lose a bomber.

and in all these great leaders a great group of pilots gave their best to ensure a victory for us on the FSO and i am proud to be a member of this magnificant squad.
