Was in the AVA last night. P38 vulched me w/ rockets  :cry so I upped a 110g one field back and returned to the scene of the crime where another P38 attempted the HO on every merge until I quelled his passion with a face full of 30 mil. Nothing has changed since my last visit
so why bother.
Why bother?  Well, everyone is entitled to spend their (subscription amount) in the way they see fit.  Is it human nature to be ruthless when they see a red icon?  Is it rude, to ignore polite advice on PC gameplay?  How much abuse and ruthless behavior does one tolerate in any arena?

Why bother?  I would have to say that the positives would have to outweigh the negatives.  No matter how many negative comments I read on any particular thread, if it has enough useful information, it has served its purpose.  I fly in the same AvA that everyone else does.  When it is good, it is very good, and when it is bad...... I have been known to voice my opinion and even take a leave from participating.

In a nutshell, there is no other arena that has the kind of potential for 24 hour 7 days a week historical matchups and player influenced setups and new maps.  ;)

Ill put $20 up saying that that person wasn't a AvA regular and was one of the new folks from the MA.
I can back Larry up on this, I could just about take 2 guesses and nail who this offender is.  New players to the arena need some nudging to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Possibly the only reason why the arena is so poorly misused is the "old hat" idea that it is a place for only "good" pilots.  It is a place where pilots can learn to be good also.

When events are run there and numbers rise, it is simply because the positives outweigh the negatives.

Don't pay any attention to me, especially after I've had a few, was just venting from lack of a decent fight. :salute
The three most common expressions (or famous last words) in military aviation are:'Did you feel that?' 'What's that noise?' and'Oh S...!'

Stixx (good band - guess Styxx was taken  :D )  Your comment was right on topic, so I appreciate your candid response.  No need to apologize, I have had plenty of those days, especially since my squad has split up.  Anyone who knows me knows that I am hot and cold on AvA myself.  Right now though, I have been seeing steady progress emerging and am hopeful about Fudgums' Frame war.
