Which B-26B?

Apparently the early versions had a smaller wing area than later versions.  The smaller wing produced higher speeds, but were (cough) difficult for new pilots to handle, resulting in the nickname, "Martin Murderer".

A later version had longer wingspand and larger vertical stabilizer, but lost 20 mph top speed.

We getting the "Murderer"?

 Pop,
   I Also am interested in which one we are getting because the later version was more easly to fly and the wing was tilted at a 20degrees.  I would hope that they put the later version in because that way we dont get by to much flack;-)

Ack! Damned americans. That is blatantly wrong, F is for Freddie a mosquito fighter bomber actually holds that record, as well as the most sorties flown during the ETO. It was destroyed after the war during a victory tour across Canada when the (Rather whoopee dumb) pilot clipped a steel pole trying a fancy take off manuever in Manitoba.

Is that for day or night sorties though? I've read that a Mosquito B.IX, LR503 of No.105 sqn possibly held the record for most night sorties at 213. Eric Brown's "Wings of the Luftwaffe" has a photo in it of a Ju87D-3 that had apparently done 300 sorties!
