<S> 327th Steel Talons

   The Nightmares took off from 107 and shortly after takeoff the Nightmare P39 escort got separated from its A20s trying to intercept some Ki67s that we never caught. We ended up way behind our squaddies,fearing we had left them exposed.

   Thankfully the 327th Steel Talons stayed with our guys and they made it into V45 and also assisted in destroying the base. We showed up just as they were outbound. They covered our squad all the way home.

   Without their efforts many of our A20s may have been lost.

   The Nightmares have created an FSO Squad Appreciation Ribbon.This ribbon will be awarded to any squad that saves our bacon,or that we feel performed in a manner to greatly help us achieve success.

   So we salute the 327th Steel Talons and present them with our squad appreciation ribbon. <S>

After your P39's were separated, we did engage a group of 5 Ki84's that made a pass for the A20's. We dispatched them and the Buffs made it to target, and home.

It was our pleasure to escort, and get a few kills as a group.

The 327th are honored to be awarded the Squad Appreciation Ribbon, and will wear it proudly!
