IL2 was made some years ago, it hasn't changed. The Graphics engine is much better than aces high but there flight model is rubbish. Every plane has the exact same flight model where as AH2 we have different flight models for EVERY plane. So the gameplay is much different.
Do not worry though, Aces High will surpass IL2 in eye candy when it's time for it. When that day comes, AH2 will be the best WW2 Flight Sim on the market.
