Most likely it accepts any usb controller. If I know anything about how the IDF works, my guess is that their original stick broke down and either: a) they had not replacement stick in stock and someone just brought his old one from home. b) someone figured out that it is cheaper to buy game sticks at the nearest shop than to buy a proper stick through the official channels for 400$ apiece.
