The rain was a major frame rate killer.  I loved the AK's Pizza (desert) map but the original editable map was lost before the transition to AH2, which prevented it from being updated to AH2 specs.

Maybe with the new terrain textures, we might get weather to go with it. :t

Some wind, turbulence and ground effect turbulence would be good.

What would be nice would be to have weather fronts just like in real life... no rain but to have clouds move more than they do... granted they would probably hinder high level bombing .. but didnt that happen in real life????

The problem with 'weather' is can it be coaded to be dynamic?  Shifting winds at different altitudes and times vs. 20km/hr from the west at 2K feet.

Vortices, updrafts, downdrafts, shifting to the east, then back.

Weather isn't really weather.

I have no experience with computer 'weather' though.

Yes... the momentary shake of turbulence would be most uncomfortable in your office chair... :huh

Turbulence and wind would really make things interesting and the added challenge would be awesome.  Plus I think it'd be fun to watch dogfights drift off in an arbitrary direction as the wind blows... :P

If turbulence can be added, why not the shakes and vibrations you get from exploding ack? That'd be great :)
