What can you expect from the 8th Air Force? The 8th Air Force on AH2 will operate the same way the original 8th Air Force did. We will run massive bomber raids into enemy territory. Our goal is to be the standard of a bombing-escorting-attacking squadron in AH2. We are also very organized. When you first sign up with the 8th Air Force. You will be put into one of our training squadrons(495 FTG). Depending on your interests and skill but mainly your interests. You will be put into a squadron. What we mean by skill. If your not the best of fighter pilots and don't want to bomb at all. You will be put in a squadron with better wingman and people that will help you in the ways that are needed. Currently, we have 3 squadrons, 352nd Fighter Group(P-51B-D). 20th Fighter Group(P-38s), and 398th Bomber group(B17s). We look to expand the 8th into a group with many squadrons.

Also, when you are in your squadron. We ask you to pick a historical plane from the original squadron. For me, since I'm General of the 8th Air Force I can chose my plane. So I chose the 352nd FG's P51B-D. It is named "The West By Gawd Virginian". On the roster you will have your name of your plane. Your plane's noseart, and your planes original number.

Does all this mean that you have to fly your squad plane ALL the time. No, not at all. We only have these squad planes for squadnights. So we can keep organized and have alot of fun. On squad nights, our goal is not kills. Our goal is to make it to target, and back. ALIVE.

What can you expect on squad nights. We will have mass bomber raids running deep into enemy territory. Also, for one week(2 squad nights), we will run a different county bomber raid. For instance, a Luftwaffe night, JU-88s and Ju-87's with 109 and 190 escorts. Or a Russian night, Il-2s with LA and Yak escorts.

The 8th Air Force will also participate in special events. This will include snapshots, SEC, SNS, Heavy metal sunday. We will start flying in FSO in March. See you in the unfriendly skies.

Rules and Regs.

1. Must be on a subscription(no 2 week trial)

2. Must have a Mic

3. Must Fly 8th Air Force planes 75% of the time

4.Constant Banter on the BBS or 200 will mean in ejection from squad. Little bit is fine because well, I do a little as well.

5.Must fly your squad plane on squad night

Interested, send me a PM here or on the game
