Options for LCD TV/DVD player in a car?
« on: March 20, 2009, 02:52:57 PM »
The car: 08 Honda Accord EX 4 door..

I'm looking for options or ideas that so that I can install an LCD TV/DVD system for my kids to watch in the back seat while we are traveling..
We regularly visit my parents and it's a 6 hour drive..  I've considered using my Laptop but not quite sure how to mount it or where to put it..  I've looked at
the flip-down versions but the installation seems like a pain in the arse..  The car itself has an 8 inch LCD monitor used for the stereo, GPS Nav, Climate control, trip computer, etc.
I've seen where people have modded the existing system to run DVD's....  I'm not quite sure how it worked as it was just someone showing it off on Youtube..

I was hoping there was some kind of after-market rear seat center floor console type of thing that I could just sit my laptop on..  Sort of like a table for the back seat.....?

Anyhow have any ideas??  Thanks! :salute

This one is pretty kewl.  It mounts to the back of each front seat with a strap.  Each kid gets their own screen-
