Guess what I saw on the news the Aqua logg crew the dumb*** who ran the boat into the bridge got huge fines. They are claiming they removed the logs without a permit, and that the logs had been acting as part of the river ecosystem! Sucks to be them lol
The same "ecosystem" logic is one of the reasons for huge forest fires due to all the dead fuel at the lower levels of the trees. Do we really need old, dead trees in a river that wouldn't be there if not for logging to begin with? Now, if they're tearing things up to get to the logs, like the banks and approaches to the river, that's a different story.
