i must disagree with the majority here.
furball lake can be good fun and a decent place to practice SA and furballing, as said above its a small sclae MA furball.
if you accept that fact you can have fun in there, if you want to dual, just change to a different field.

good to see you too knite <S> :)

True, but at the same time, the lake has become the identity of the dueling arena, which is a sad thing.

Youd have better fun and SA/furballing practice without the anti gameplay pickers and gangers.

Tex, most of the people in the DA use channel 1 instead of 200. Had a nice fight in a 109e vs a yak yesterday. Seems to me if you can avoid the spit, spit, tempy, 4hog crowd, you can have a good fight. I think it was Batfink and another guy were in mossy's and were giving good fights. Just make sure you tell your country mates to back off if you're in a good fight. The ganging knows no country boundaries.

LivrLips you were flying like a demon in that 109E, i think in the end traz31st stole your kill on me in his tempest.

Sometimes you can find good fights on the fringes.  109G14 v P-39Q.  Even had a guy in a Spit wait until we were finished.  Two good fights in a row.

Funniest thing I've seen in there in a while was Skyrock in an F4U-1 calling people out of the hord and killing them.  "Come down here Spit16."
Very impressive actually.  He had school in session.

There are some diamonds in the rough in there.  Just lots of slag to wade through first most of the time.

If you go in later in the evening when the numbers aren't so high it can be fun. My problem is with the lame morons who are so desparate for a kill all they do is hang around in ponies and Tempests and pick. I'm currently trying to learn how to use rudder pedals after years of a twisty stick. It aint easy so I'm upping random rides just for practice. I swear you could eliminate the whole plane set save spixteens, Chogs, 51s and Tempies and no one would notice. They play like it's for score in there. Need to turn of the kills landed messages. It'd also be neat if you could have a daily perk amount assigned. Then when they use up all their uber picker ride perks, they'd be forced to go home. I to remember the days when you could be engaged in a 1v1 and everyone would fly past and leave you alone. Not a chance in hell anymore.

It can be frustrating but it can be fun too.  U just have to hang around a bit, see who is on, maybe get into a good scrap or two then PM them to meet you on the fringe or at a base.  I have had some great times doing just that in there.  Most recent was with Wrongway just yesterday.  Good fun.  It is different than it used to be but it is like fishing in a new spot, the way u fished in your old honey hole may not work in your new honey hole, but that doesn't mean the fish ain't there.

And SkyRock, I didn't HO u, I left the bullets in their casings, packed neatly in my wings and flew them into your face.... :noid

Oh yes the Lake is very.......kiddie. Everyone flies Tempests and Spits and picks everyone else. The domination of 2 mega squads in the DA has lead to horde and gangbanging. But most of the time there is a good 1v1 waiting.  :aok

Maybe HTC should make another arena like the old DA was with Friendly fired allowed which means no kill shooter.
if anyone complains tell them they can go to the New DA.
That's just my opinion though.
