New Windscreen for Motorcycle
« on: March 21, 2009, 09:31:48 PM »
For $119 at jcwhitney it's a national cycle screen. It installed in 20 minutes, though I went to Home Depot and kind of made my own mounts for the bottom because I had mounts on the signal stems not designed for this screen. 75pmh no vibration, rock solid.

Boy it makes a difference. I learned I need better gloves, but I don't need the liner in my jacket. It really makes a difference with the helmet too. With the face shield up I get no wind in the face, but the noise over the top of the helmet is louder when the face shield is down... I might get a skull helmet.

Side note, MAN I am so glad to be out on the bike again. After learning last year even though I put on 5500 miles from June to October I was worried I may forget how to properly and safely ride... it is just like the saying says, like riding a bike :aok
