If you do dot Track your rear 6 views will inherit their focus point from the head position file that is saved for every plane that you setup views with F10 for. So if you setup a rear view without trackIR turned on and save it with F10, dot tracking will use that as your dead six point of view. If you set an over the right shoulder down the fusalage with F10 that works for you, then when you dot track turn to your right shoulder to look back, the saved F10 view will be at the end of you turning your head to the right with trackIR.

I got rid of 90% of having to recenter by using a tack with a half globe pin head, stiking it into my hat brim and sticking the reflective material all over it. After that when you pull up the green dot tracking test window, no matter where you turn your head the dot stays the same size. Also you need to have the camera no more than 12-14 inches from the dot. Loosing center happens when the camera has to keep adjusting to the flat dot panning away and getting smaller at the end of your head motions.

It's a given in the heat of the moment you can snap your head about too fast for the camera to keep up and you pop your view. When I started using the half globe tack and moved my camera closer, I cut down drasticly on how many times the camera lost tracking with my quick head motions and yes some recentering is inevitable.

thank you....... :salute
