Could've built one yourself with better parts for much less....  I'm sorry....  No offense, but with what you are probably paying and the amount of absolutely useless software you are getting, as well as Windows Vista, not to mention the "TopNotch" :lol customer service you get from any large corporation such as Dell, this is not impressive by any means....  I grieve for you as you were also sold on the extended warranty which basically means that if you even attempt to mess around with anything, your warranty will automatically be voided..  Best of luck to you, however...   :salute

if i am getting a new intel machine i wouldnt even bother with anything less then a x58 mb and 920. simply cause the upgrade path to a higher x9x000's is almost as expensive if not more then the 920 and the 920 will beat it most of the x9x00's hands down

the x9400 is the same prices as the 920 and the 920 is almost twice as fast

well I am not much for the building myself thing....this is my second dell and the first one worked out good....As far as the warranty thing goes they sent me a hard drive and had me put it in myself so that does not  worry me...pluss for 700 buks and no finance charge for 9 months it is a steal.... I dont just play aces high so the next generation will be vista 64 bit and some of the newer games just off the shelf look like crap without it.. :salute

Scoffers aside, it looks to me like you'll enjoy your new computer.  I do suggest however that you experiment with your OLD computer after the new one arrives, so by the time you need another computer in a few years you are confident enough to do the upgrade or replacement build yourself.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I have a 9 year old Dell that is still running. Actually had, I gave it to my son. So I don't think that is a bad deal at all. Enjoy!

I build my own these days. I'd pass on a Dell anyway.
