Furball
« on: January 22, 2009, 09:16:28 PM »
This is a blatant bit of plagiarism on Stixx's USA v Japan.  I pretty much just took it apart and put the aircraft I might fly on one side and the aircraft you are likely to see in a furball on the other.  A word of warning should you choose to fly Red; you're outnumbered and you start lower by 2.5k.  I use this to practice snapshots and energy management in my trusty F4U-1 during the big furballs, so it's not meant to be "fair".

Blue: F4U-1, F4U-4, La-5FN, P-38J, FW-109D-9, P-47D-25
Red: La-7, P-51, Bf-109K4, Spit VIII, Spit VXI, N1K2-J

Right click the link and save as.  Thanks to Stixx for the initial file!

Your Welcome Puck, don't worry about the plagiarism, as the file I used was the original P51 vsP51
default mission when the ME was first introduced. So in a word you could say you've plagiarized a
plagiarist.

I've downloaded the file and will be giving it a shot, course since I'm always outnumbered
in the LW anyway I'll most likely fly for the red team, yeah go underdog.  :salute

Greetings Puck   :)
Have to make contact with u once again regarding ur mission posted on 01/22/09
entitled "Furball", my feelings are similar to urs in wanting to fly other planes against each other, ie an F4U-1 vs P51-D, etc, just as u've listed under ur puck.mis

Blue team vs Red team, However, after having downloaded ur mission, I'm unable to fly most of the planes listed under  Puck - Blue or under Puck - Red, as a matter of fact, I'm unable to find Puck-Blue or Puck-Red in my offline practise missions.

The only new addition is Victims consistent of Spits & NIKs against P38s.  Would you pls check into this & post a new mission download or correct the previous one?
Thx 4 ur courtesies & help.   :salute

Hellfire, click on Puck's link, then copy all the data.  Open Notepad, paste it, save it to your desktop...change save as type from txt to 'all files' and name it 'puck.mis'.  Then open your AH folder in program files (quickest way to get there is right click AH on desktop, then click find target) and drop the file into 'offmiss' and it should be there.
