Codes are screwed up on the right side.  should be RF (roundel) M.

Does anyone have a picture?  I thought the British system was different than how the Americans did it but the picture from one of the sights cited in this thread shows codes in the "American" style.



Two letters before the national insignia one after, on both sides vs. left to right on both sides.

Nope he doesn't. While I was wrong.. I knew that RF was the squadron code.  It is from the picture in the first page..

M (roundel) RF

On the starbord side.

RF being the squadron code and M being the aircraft.  These guys were not following standard RAF practices.  What is next?  Nose art! (shudder)
