Well it ended up being fun. We had 50+ I thought there would be more people. I guess no one really likes those Jap Planes.

Well it ended up being fun.

In this game that's all that matters, even if the armchair generals fail to realize it.

I agree about the Japanes planes.  I would love to see one of these with German iron, but in all honesty JU's are cannon fodder, so it would be a hard sell.

No I guess one of our own did rat out the mission.....disappointing if true because he was considered a friend.

I'm chalking it up to my picking bad targets in already hot zones, the large numbers taking off from two locations and the fatal error of not sending a scout plane ahead to check for enemy CV's... So as far as the technical end it was my fault for overlooking a few key needs of the mission.

From a defenders standpoint the only thing I think would have been better is if your CV was a little farther out to sea than it was.  Or if you have a group of guys disciplined enough to not break dar to fly a sector or two around the flank NOE then pop to grab and misrepresent the location of the CV.

Yeah, there were a lot of errors that I made. A lesson learned and something gained for the next one.
