This is an outstanding recording of an actual bombing mission

Awesome!  Loved hearing the guns and everyone's exaltation after the plane being shot down...  Great find... :salute

I think we've had this one before wip, I think we got as far as the crew being genuine, did make a recording in the air, etc. Whether the guns could be heard that clearly IRL, whether the night fighter actually crashed, all "pending" IIRC>
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Delicately I post with respect to the OP and the crew, if real, in the sound recording.  This has been on the forum before.  Many debunked it as fake and I tend to agree.

Bomber Aimers were RAF and bombardiers were Royal Artillery.

Thats amazing, and they did that without divebombing a single target. The bish should listen to this they may get a clue that lancs arent divebombers.....to much to ask?? yeah i thought so to.
