Gotta love the B1-B, by far my favorite bomber, can even kill you without weapons, just goes super sonic 200ft over your head.

Aren't those Super Hornets bad ass?  Thanks for sharing.  I got my fill on Super Hornets last weekend at NAF El Centro's Airshow, they're beutiful planes.

Looks like they'll have the same F-15E team that was at El Centro earlier this month. maybe even the same F-18 Super Hornet demo team.  I highly recommend you catch both if you dig the planes.

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

yeah i have no clue about what plane's they're bringing, just read in the newspaper that they're going to be there. Do these guys compare with the Blue Angels? From what everyone tells me the Blue Angels are the best of the best.

this is all the info on the airshow   http://www.macdill-airfest.com/

anyone else in the tampa bay area interested?

Well... personally I like the F/A-18 better than the F-16, and then I also think the Navy is a notch (or dozen) higher than the AF.  For those two reasons the Blue Angels will always be the better of the two to me.  I haven't personally seen the Thunder Birds in many years though (since before I met my Ex, who I had to beg/steal/lie to go to an airshow), but I'm hoping to catch them when I can now.

Both groups (BAs & TBs) excel at tight formation flying, organized maneuvers and very close passes.

The F-15E and F/A-18F demo teams though are great for a one (or two-plane at most) demonstration of what their planes are capable of doing.  The pilots are topnotch, typically of the upper-level instructor variety.  They'll make their planes dance and sing (roar) incredibley.  If you like the plane they're flying then you'll love seeing them show it off.
