Im still running a single core AMD 4400+ OC CPU on a ASUS A8n-CSM motherboard and im going to do a partial system upgrade by replaceing my MOBO , CPU, and ram to bring this dinosaur into the 21st century. I have a 1.0 ter harddrive, a geforce 8800gt vid card 700watt PSU and all the peripherials work fine, no need for replacement.I Was just wandering if anyone is useing the evga nforce780i mobo and how they like it. This board seems the best for the buck for the fact that it can be upgraded later with a quad core and i can update OS to 64bit. I will also use a intel E8400 dual core CPU any reviews or comments will be helpfull before i commit.

I use the EVGA 780i FTW mobo, almost the same with a few minor improvements so I think I should be able to comment. So far I've had no issues with it, using a Q6600, EVGA 8800GT, and 4GB PC2-6400 RAM and I had no boot problems from the start. If I had to actually give a con about this it would be the fairly hot North and South bridge. Running at a toasty 51C and 57C respectively even in my Antec 1200 case with the little optional fan that you can put on the NB heat sink. Other then that and price it's been a great mobo and I don't regret the purchase.
