LA-7's best turn speed
« on: March 24, 2009, 03:47:47 AM »
I've searched and couldn't find anything on this, I'm looking for the LA-7's best turn speed and you can also throw in the LA-5's also if anyone has the information......I know people look down on players who fly the LA-7, but I find it fun to fly and it really is a very good performing plane and not just a runner.

Easiest way to get them yourself is to plug the numbers in from Mosq's test data into Badboy's bootstrap calculator.  Mosq's listed turn times are for 3 full 360's, so they need to be divided by 3 to get a single "time to turn 360".

Murdr, are Mosq's data still valid for current version? I see they were compiled on 2006....

EDIT: Btw, I can't download Badboy's file, the zip is corrupted (don't think it's a problem on my end).

gian, ill doublecheck the download this evening.  Mosqs numbers are still current.  There have been no sweeping changes since  then. Even tweaks since then are still 'close enough.

Try here Cajunn. The top link on the page will allow you to DL an app for all AHII A/C for comparison. Gives you the turn rates instant/continuous and with flaps in/out. Plus Climb rate/speed chart military/wep pwr. Free DL for paying AH subscribers. Alot of good info and links on that page as well. I also use the other app on that page to keep track of my personal scores from AH from tour to tour to see how I am progressing or regressing in my skills. Good luck.
