Thanks for a few good fights earlier today. This was not the only one but I decided to make a little film of it, mostly because I'm off work today and just felt like it.

FW190A-8 vs P51D

It can also be found on YouTube for those not wanting to download. Watch in HD!

Hey I don't mind his flying style at all, he's good and it was a good fight. Just prior to this engagement I was in a 190D and shot him down in a deflection opportunity shot. We had several good fights after this as well, none resulted in decisive damage but he had the advantage throughout being in a better plane and flying it well. The A-8 really fly like a brick and is no match for either of the 51s.

I have flown in the skies with Sr for a while now.  I am watching my bandwith now so will watch film at another date.  Also, Vortex has pwnd me in the AvA as well for some time.  I am sure without watching the film that it was a classic dogfight.   :salute to both really excellent pilots.

JG11, I haven't taken a peek at the AvA Thursday Night Blitzkrieg planeset yet, but I have a good feeling that the 1942- '43 rounds tonight should be worthy.  I hope to see you my friends.

Do not confuse me with vortex, ingame name changed to 'Turner' some months ago and have not flown in the AvA for a long time now.

Ummm...... How long ago was some time?  I remember doing an announced mission with ponies attacking Islands on the Okinowa Map in the AvA.  It was quite a blast and I learned how poorly the pony performs at high altitude with rockets.  I could have sworn that you were helping to run the opposition.

:salute Forgive me if I was mistaken.  2CHiLLi2

I believe it was about six months ago now, maybe 1 more perhaps. It shows in my score logs. '33vortex' flew from tour 60-something and it was all wiped in the name change. Had I known I'd probably just gotten a new acct. Anyway, the 'vortex' guy is afaik quite new to the game and is not me. :)
