Best...Reference...EVAR!
« on: April 07, 2009, 11:19:34 AM »
Being a scifi geek and growing up in the 80s, I don't think I've EVER seen a better pop culture reference than last night's Chuck (guest-starring Scott "Dr. Sam Beckett" Bakula). The writers knew EXACTLY what the fans wanted:

Not even ten minutes in they gave us an "Oh boy!"

I about fell off my couch laughing.

I love Mondays. :D
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Chuck sucks.

You just made The List....

Dynamite,

There isn't a show on network television that makes for a more amusing round of "Guess the Reference." :D That's one I was looking for and expecting, tho. With all the other references they make every week, it just wouldn't have been right for them NOT to throw in an "Oh boy."

Now I'm waiting for Chevy Chase's character to tell someone off with, "I'm Ted Roark, and you're not!"

I loved that show. I have one of the season sets (was there only one season?).  Anyhow, it was kinda light, always ended on a high note.  Was pretty refreshing to not see someone squirting blood every 3 seconds too. :)

Saw another cute reference the other day on a different show.  The movie with the WWE wrestler who's wife was kidnapped.  Guy in the back seat says "this guy's like the terminator."
