Profanity Filter in Squad/Club Forums
« on: April 07, 2009, 03:50:53 PM »
I know it's kind of nit picking, but is there any way the profanity filter in private/squad/club forums can have the option of being disabled by the forum moderator?  Just kinda lame that you can't say toejam or diddly in a private place where you shouldn't really have to be censored.

That's all, thanks.

The bulletin board software does not have the ability to do that.  It is an all or nothing proposition.

Who says the others in your squad forum want to hear profanity any more than anyone else?  I know you make concessions for buddies, but still....

Besides, allow it in one place and expect them to not do it everywhere else.  Then there's the repeated argument about knowing what you have typed before you hit enter....

Isn't it fun trying to interpret the noodles and twittles?  We need a key.   :)

That's what I thought, otherwise it'd probably be set up like in game where squad channel is free of the profanity filter.

Thanks for the reply, Skuzzy.

OK.

And, I suppose it would only be fair if one of the muppets had tourettes.
