Configuration doc?
« on: January 22, 2009, 01:18:30 PM »
Just out of curiosity is there a doc anywhere that tells you what all the various fields are in the .mis files?  I have this bad habit of doing all my editing in vi...I've been modifying existing missions to suit, and doing so in an editor is SO much less overhead than using the GUI.
//c coad  c coad run  run coad run
main (){char _[]={"S~||(iuv{nkx%K9Y$hzhhd\x0c"},__
,___=1;for(__=___>>___;__<((___<<___<<___<<___<<___
)+(___<<___<<___<<___)-___);__+=___)putchar((_[__
])+(__/((___<<___)+___))-((___&

Has anyone scoped this out yet?

Some of the elements you can identify pretty quick just by trial and effort using your editor in conjunction with the ME, but it would be nice to have the value ranges for the elements documented somewhere.  For example, if you know the plane numbers, formations, weapon sets, etc, a mission designer can tweak that stuff right in the .mis file.
