In my old squad, and sometimes my new one, we change countries just to try to hunt each other down.  I think it's fun, and so does everyone else.  WE play the combat sim/game for the fight.  I think it's Guppy35 (corkjr's) signature that sums that up.

So, let me get this straight.  Even IF he switched sides to bust an NOE mission () to get a fight and do what the game was actually meant to do (promote combat from land, sea, or air), he is now labeled lame?  I don't really see how that is lame.  If nothing else was going on over the rest of the map and I had no squaddies on to fly with, you can bet your bottom dollar that I probably would've done the same thing.  I would have stopped an NOE horde mission from taking an undefended base (which is apparently what they were whining about more than anything).

But hey, what do I know?  I'm just a spying, trolling, cheating, moron.

NOTE:  Count, on Monday, call Skuzzy up (yes call, it will be a lot quicker than e-mails) and tell him the date and time of when this happened.  He'll look it right up in the logs and read everything said (I don't think he can read 4 Squad or PMs) in text.  If you didn't deserve the report in his eyes, then he'll reverse it.

just because he knew they were planning a raid doesnt mean he was spying.
if he did switch sides that is pretty lame but from the OP he neglected to mention that.

Well, but the raid was NOE.  And Dallas had been hitting an entirely different part of the map earlier.  Yet he was right there in the middle of town, already waiting with a wirbel.  He neglected to claim that he was telepathic, too.  I've even noticed him a couple of times on the squad channel, when Dallas is not around.  Besides, do you actually think that he would admit to what he did?  Give us a break here.

last week i spent 20 or so minutes chasing dallas around,  I even prevented him suiciding in ack by daring him to fight me.  Needless to say we had an animated discussion on PM about the pros and cons of different gameplay styles and each others  peewee sizes.

Basically if you dont take bases in a horde no fight manner you are a waste of space in his eyes

It really is one thing for you to not agree with Dallas about how to play this game.  There have always been two completely different type of groups of players in this game: dog fighters and base takers.   Just because Dallas plays the game differently from you does not give you the right to be so unfairly critical of him like this.  Dallas is one of the nicest guys playing this game, in my opinion.

Besides, that was not the reason.   Many on the squad are simply fed up with having to Squelch him all the time.  Do you not know how annoying that is to do?  There is no permanent squelch feature in the game.  They don't want to get involved in his beef, or listen to any of his garbage.  He needs to give this all a rest, and move on with his life and join another squad.

And airing all of this dirty laundry here in the forum is rather pointless too.  I guess he wants everyone to feel sorry for him.

oh twin  i've had my share of chats with dallas,   we share a joke or two winding each other up.

At the end of it everyone here knows he can be a grade A tool.  Whether we agree or disagree, talking to people you DON'T know and abusing them on private text is bad form.  2 years back he verbally assaulted a squad member of mine on private vox.  Which was well out of order.  His poor ears havent heard such swearing and ranting since.

Now imagine that person was your 10/12/14 year old kid playing on your computer how pissed off would you be when they turned round and even repeated one of his swear words.

Just because you suck at this game gives you no right to behave like the way dallas used too and probably still does to people who he doesnt know.

Mass reporting = lame

Going out of your way to bust others' chops = lame

You did something lame and got lamed back.

Deal with it.

Just to be very clear to those who are under the false impression that there is a justified reason to use dot report other than someone using the radio for abusive or unacceptable communications...

If a player WAS NOT being abusive on comms, then you are wrong to organize a dot report on that player.  PERIOD, END OF STORY.

If after review the dot report was found to be used abusively, then the abusers will lose their vox/text instead.

Ok let's see, you were on Knights, right around the time they launched their NOE raid you switched to Rook, yet somehow knew about the NOE raid, and claim you found out after you switched (which was right around the time they launched it).

You, Sir, are lying.

I was in that raid, and one of the guys in there said you told him that you "just wanted to fight against them" and so that's why you switched, but that you told him you wouldn't broadcast that info to anyone else, and just fight against us yourself.

And you wonder why they are pi$$ed off at you?  You switched sides so you can screw up their raid, and you just laugh and think how funny you are?  Yeah, that's wicked funny.  What a dweeb.

Anyhow, I think it's funny the title of this thread is "Mass .report for no reason", when in fact the reason is that you deliberately switched sides so you could screw up that squad's NOE raid.

you people take this waaayy too seriously?

how old are you? 3?

Too learn of a raid ,then to switch sides and counter that raid is very poor behavior.  Ive often been tempted, especially when I dont particularly care for a certain someone. You just have to restrain yourself.

If you had just happened upon that mission and they pulled that mass report on you, I'd say you had a case. But you know what you did. So does everyone else. Ride out the mute and next time maybe not do that.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
