190D-11

I want to add the 190d-11 (2x30mm wing-mounted and incremental to the D-9's armament) to the wish list. Only 17 were made but at least 1 found service with JV44.
Some say revenge is a dish best served cold. I say it's usually best served hot, chunky, and foaming. Eventually, you will all die in my vengeance vomit firestorm.

There were only 7 prototypes built. V55-61 were the D-11 prototypes.
It never entered production nor entered combat in unit strength.

Yep, no need to add a plane that wasn't even a blip on the radar of air combat in WWII.

An A-5 that performs to historical specs in regard to speed, an A-6, or an A-9, all are better 190 wishes.  :aok
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

Ah, NVM, 17 D-11's were delivered to Stab JG300,  II/JG300 and JV44. Nonetheless it was nothing more than a low-production interim solution until the D-13 could be produced.
Anyway, we already have a super-rare 190 variant, I'd rather an A2/3 or an A4.

We do need a 190 A-2/3, perfect for BoB

Numbers don't matter that much. They don't inherently trump good gameplay, which a low alt souped up 190D would provide.

The D-11 sounds interesting, but check this out:

"The Fw 190D-12 was a fighter-bomber variant, which differed from the D-9 by having a three-stage supercharged Jumo 213F-1 engine rated at 2060 hp for takeoff mounted in a new, more extensively armored cowling. Armanent was one engine-mounted 30-mm MK 108 cannon and two 20-mm MG 151s in the wing roots. Although primarily a ground-attack plane, the D-12 also made an effective fighter and could attain 453 mph at 37,000 feet when MW 50 boost was used. Production began in March 1945 at the Arado and Fieseler plants, but only a few were delivered."

Armored = good! Thing has a frickin' glass jaw as-is (radiator wise), plus it's got a 30mm in the nose!

But, that's just a "wishlist" item, doesn't meet the game criteria. If we're asking for wishlist items, screw the 190D series, gimme a Ta152C-0!!

Over the channel, yes.

During the accepted BoB timeline of 10 July - 31 October 1940, no.

The 190 first saw combat roughly a year later in August 1941.
