Amazing!
« on: April 13, 2009, 06:54:12 PM »
Apparently this lady got bullied a lot while young and made fun of later on in life. It's the brit equivalent to American Idol.

Just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover.  Good for her.

Reminds me of Kurt Nilsen from Norway:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmbcMuEA15g

Hmmmm.....Nilsen.....Norway.. ...
If his face wasn't plastered all over this bbs I'd start to wonder.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

Our first Icelandic idol was a fisherman. Sadly he fell into the druggy world. I was a crewmember on that ship, while he was on holiday. The bugger was shipping drugs while on leave, got caught, and now he is locked up.
So, I hope fame will treat those better ;)
Anyway, Paul Potts was also very good ;)
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Oh trust me... im ugly but i can _NOT_ sing  :lol

The British lady sounded fantastic, but what got me was seeing the jaw drop on all 3 judges. I bet they would not have dropped further if they had won a billion.
