15 Kills 1 Sortie

Upped a Tempest the other night and here was the result.

Great film.

I love this kind of film because it gives me a perspective of where you are supposed to shoot, lead, and what not.

Great example of conservation of ammo too.

i can kill 15 planes with under 300 .50cal. round :lol, letting the bullsh*t aside, nice run. You could do that easy in the P38, but i'm cheap, take only 50 gas  :D

20 rounds in a Temp is enough for three kills if you can force yourself to manage the patience.  :aok

24 not to say that was bad sortie but when you do your ropes i suggest immelmen over the top it baits them in more and you get more stalled planes, i think i averaged like 8 kills per sortie in Tempy this tour but I always seem to get ho when i have only 20 rounds left, way to rtb while you were ahead :aok

Do it in a P-38G and I'll be impressed.

Nice run in that Temp.  I'm surprised that's not the standard kill ratio per sortie, for the Tiffy/Temp, C-Hog, and Hurri-C

Its difficult to get over 10 kills in anything in one sortie. Could post it in the training forums 20fo.
