18 is the max at my university unless you can get your adviser to fill out a ton of paperwork. And advisers like to advise, not work.

At Riddle anything over 17 Credit Hours is considered overload and you have to get an advisor to sign for it. The way I'm going I should graduate with 2 or 3 minors since I came into the program with so many AP credits. I only have to take 12 credits to be full time and I am struggling to find classes to fill that time in for the senior year (we have to plan that far ahead for AFROTC)

Most I ever took was 15hrs, had a job plus an internship. Was the most miserable 4 years ever, ran on 3-4 hours sleep at most.

I'm doing a double major in philosophy and sociology.

If you can sell yourself with your analytic writing ability you'd be surprised at the jobs you can get.

Be smart and make sure you have some sort of internship before you graduate that gives you practical experience.  That way you should have an easier time of it than I did; it wasn't initially easy to convince employers that I could apply myself beyond epistemology and moral psychology. :o

Who knows where I'll end up? It could really be anywhere.

Business, banking, funerals, art, music, computers, ethics..... I don't have the faintest idea.

24 credits? That's 8 classes right?  Who the hell can even manage eight classes a semester!  I doubt the college would even let someone take that many, as you'd have 0 time for real life.  :lol

Most I've taken is 5 classes - 15 credit hrs.  + Work, etc...  I'll be graduating this may.

You seem to have the same attitude I did.  Get ready for a post-graduation let down; it's a tough world out there. :P
