German rocket damage backwards?

Sorry, could not find any results via search... so...

Some weird behaviour with german rockets..

Rocket explodes to the right of this drone:



but sets the left engine on fire




rocket explodes left of the lead bomber




and takes off the right wing

I think it's like puffy ack. There's the "burst" and that burst throws out the shrapnel, which in this case flies into the parts that sets them on fire, or whatever.
