as long as no one was on my six, it was fine, but I had a hard time tracking bandits on my six.
As long as you have your right/left backward/forward axises set up fairly sensitively it's easy to get a clear six view. And since you can make micro-adjustments to keep them in sight it's even better.
I just did a quick glance, I think I didn't even finish moving my head before I hit alt+s. Anyway, this is an idea of what it looks like when I take a quick check or whatever just to make sure no one's on me. I leaned forward and to the left in conjunction with moving my head, just like you do when trying to look behind you around an obstacle in real life.

Of course then if someone's on the other side it's easy to check too, not so easy with a hat.
