Why not have different seasons throughout the game.

I wouldn't mind fighting in the snow from time to time, it would make flying the winter skins fun  :)

One "season" has over 30 terrain tiles.  It would have to be quadrupled=muuch larger file size.  Fine by me, but just sayin'.

NHawk had a great idea regarding this. Yes, it would increase the file size, but it would be do-able.
