forum name = callsign
« on: May 07, 2009, 03:22:37 PM »
There are a lot of people here who's forum name is not the same as there callsign in AHII. So when you talk to someone on the forums and then see them flying you don't know that it's the same person.
Don't you think it would be great for people who's name is different to write there callsign in there signature or something.

I know HTC will never make this a "must", so it's literally up to you whether you want it or not.

Sorry guys... my in-game call sign is Swatch  spelled with a silent z.

But I jest.... seriously, it would be neat to have the forum tied to the name, at least with their callsign underneath their forum name.

You do know that can you put it into your signature, right?

So when you talk to someone on the forums and then see them flying you don't know that it's the same person.

The very reason it's nice to live in the shadows.

It would be nice to have a game id forum account too though!

for sure, it took me awhile to figure out they were not the same. . .I figured the only reason they would be different is if people wanted to flame/troll without any actual 'in game' e-honor loss.

That's why I "sign" my posts.  I had signed up to the bb before I played online.
