I had a mission I was playing with under patch 7. I had to update to the new version to run under patch 8, and I went in to play some more. I changed the plane type to P-39Q.
Under the weapons group drop-box it had "center" and you clicked the button to load it, and it had 2 empty rows. Clicking the first blank row allowed me to load gunpods or not, and clicking the third had nothing under it.
The weapons group label seems to be missing for "armament" group.
