YOU ARE ALL GAY.......................... ............................. .... according to BBC...   :D

The competition traditionally has a large gay following and Russian activists are trying to hold the country's first ever gay pride march while thousands of Eurovision fans are in Moscow.

Is the Norse singer gay? No troll, just curious.
The Icelandic babe AFAIK is quite straight.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

The article doesn't say that the competitors are gay, just the fans and followers...

Well, what I saw of the semifinals, the Icelandic song definately is the biggest ones. I also liked Estonia. The Finnish one this year sucks!

Was it Belarus that had the chick with almost no clothes and the three gladiators? That was the low point for me what I saw of the semifinals. (I blame the wife, I wouldn't be watching them otherwise!)

Hooray Iceland! (Btw, Angus, I'll be coming to Reykjavik with my wife, 5th of June to 10th of June - any ideas you'd have for us or even set up a meeting?)

I'll look into that. Do you have some plan of points to visit? I am just an hour away and run a guesthouse ;)

Well, we already have a hotel reserved in Reykjavik for the duration of the trip - too bad I didn't ask you about this earlier.
Other than that, no we don't have any plans at all yet, but it would be great to see Iceland outside of Reykjavik as well.

Now back to the Eurovision topic after a brief hijack...

I found it extremely boring this time. Last year we had more freaks (Sebastien Tellier :D), and to my utter surprise even a song I did like very much

This year... yawn. I can't even remember the tune of the winning title now.  And they did a fine job of keeping Ditta Van Teese of the screen for most of the time ;)

Yeah, I noticed that too, they only showed her at the end of the song.

WTG Norway! As much as Nilsen dislikes the song, I think it's pretty cool. Now I have a song I can play for my daughters (3 & 5)  :t
And our Johanna came in second. Did not expect so from that 18 years old girl, but she has a lot of talent and hopefully a good future.
Was a cool show, well Moscow always did well there ;)

I voted for Estonia, I should have voted for Iceland - although the two points wouldn't have made a difference (IIRC Estonia got 12 points from Finland and Iceland 10? Not sure about that though).

offtopic, Angus, I'll reply to your PM sometime next week when we've decided what to do each day, but looks like we're going to get a rental car anyway, so I'm looking forward to seeing you. :) /offtopic.
