Anodizer,

Installing the latest drivers may have installed the Direct Output service in your services manager. Turn it of and disable it. (SaiteK DirectOutput) is its lable. Then open MS Media Player and look at your plugins. If you have a Saitek plugin, disable it. You may get an error stating media player will now disable the plugin which is a validation that its affecting your stick. There are known issues that can impact your controler and Saitek makes you pull teeth to divulge them.

The LCD panel output is now programable via the DirectOutput extension and may not light up. Also you may just need to run another install of the Saitek drivers. Seems the latest ones don't always install correctly the very first time. But do check services and Media Player, both can affect your stick in the game. I also found in DXDiag if under my sound tab hardware accelration was not turned down to 3/4, I started having butten press problems that resembled pressing a button many times rapidly. My clipboard would open and close up to 6 times in a row with one button press.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Right on...  Thanks Bustr...  Got it working now...  Seems that if I leave the profile editor(SST) open, all the buttons work.......??  Weird....
Thank you sir! :salute
