Isn't that the plane that is like B24 but with single vertical stab only?

At least engine cowling, high mounted wings and same shape of fuselage from ahead resembles it alot..
Also has nose wheel.

I remember seeing this once brady, from the side..  didn't you already few months ago question this.

Yes Fishu, afair also last models of Consolidated Liberator had similar tail as in Privateer.
Just wondering if Privateer did use different kind of engines 'cause I remember inhaust ports (sp?) being in both sides of engine cowlings in Liberator when plane in that pic is having them under the cowlings?

hmm looks like Liberator did use turbo-charged engines (P&W R-1830-65) when Privateer used super-charged engines (P&W R-1830-94), Thats why differencies in engine cowlings.

Edit:
Added pic. Notice eng.cowlings in this Liberator "All American"

Late model B24s that saw little or no production also switched to single tail as did various B24 cargo carriers.

I, by the very nature of this series endevor NOT to repeat but thier are exceptions to every rule, if I find a cool pic I might just repeate a given subject if I find it interesting or chalenging.

  Happy Thanksgiving all :)
