Aces High II Film Viewer Error
« on: May 20, 2009, 09:06:04 PM »
For some reason my Film viewer quit working. It used to work, but now I'm getting an error message stating that:

Windows cannot open this file:

File:     ahfilm.cnt

To open this file, windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer.

Does anyone know what the deal is? I tried re-downloading the game in order to re-install AH film viewer but it just disappeared again.

Sounds like Windows is just losing what Program needs to open the File.

You can hit "Select from list of Programs", hit "Browse" (may be Search) and go to your HTC folder and select the AHFilmViewer.
C:>Program Files>HTC>Aches High II>ahfilm        Should be the default location.

If there is something else wrong, I hope someone else knows what it may be.

nope it wasn't there. Thats the problem the film viewer program has "vanished" from its default position and windows cant locate it. If i click on its shortcut icon on my desktop I get that error message stating that windows cannot find that program because its disappeared from its default position and I cant figure out for the life of me why the heck would it do that?
