For me MW is great because I prefer lower numbers of players......45-60 peeps, 15-20 per side, playing on a small map, provides me with the most enjoyment.  Late war is fun for the rare sortie into the vast hordes, and I am glad its there, but Mid War is where its at for me.

As far as VF-15 goes, fun peeps to fight with and against.  I dont mind base takers or GVrs....I just dislike people thinking they have the game plan cornered and everyone else is teh suck.  THAT gets extremely old.

KINDA  like those jumping in on this and trying to tell us we have to play their way?

just for the helluv it, i went to ew today. hardly anyone there. i got meself kilt by a set of 25's.

eny was high enough i couldn't get my 38g, so i took a spit5. found a hurri about 3k above me(i was around 8k or so). he made a couple of ho passes, and then for whatever reason, he dove for the ack.......MY ACK!! :rofl :rofl
i managed to put a couple rounds in him before it kilt him.
a little after that, i;m in the spit5 again, because i think there's buffs inbound for 1......i find a spit5 about 3-5k above me. he makes 2 ho passes, then sets up for a 3rd........and i don't really have a clue what i did, or he did, but i was suddenly on his 6. now he's trying verticle scissors, going down, trying to shake me, but with decent throttle managment, i stayed in good position...popping off a few rounds here n there to see if i could spook him. he almost did cause an overshoot, but i covered it well, with veritcle, and came down about 200 behind him......but i screwed up, and was going toooo fast....so i took a chance and fired off a 1-2 second burst. i looked behind to see his wing traveling in a different direction than the rest of his plane.

then went up to the bay area near 11, and 12. ccfr did some nice gunning from his ju88's(i was in my 38g now)
he eventually got me....i think he hit the divebrakes, and i misjudged the closure, and rammed him......it cost me my 38. :rofl

now to get  to the fight faster, i upped a zeek off of the cv(friggin want to stay in the 38, but takes too long to fly across the pond) i climb to about 9-10k, as the enemy had been reported at that alt. i found a familiar name at about 12-14k. same deal. he kept making ho passes,  and i managed to dodge the first 3. i thinnk i technically dodged the 4th, but a bit late, as i gave him a nice hi angle deflection shot, and he removed my empanage. it was cool, as spade was there, and asked if i wanted him to stay out.....which he did<S> for that dude!

had anotyher one or two fights, and then had to log to go do work outside...which i'm going to go do more of now that it's cooled off a little.

was actually fun, although a little hard to find a fit\ght at first.

oo..i should add.......larry...in mw before that, you were in your il2........i came in with alt. made a pass, you dodged, i went over the top, to come back down at ya. it looked to me like you were nose to the ground, and i popped off a few rounds. then as i hear myself taking hits, and my wing ignited, i realized you were coming up at me.....even though i lost.....i do apologize for the ho dude......i don't normally do that.

Nobody has tried to tell you to "play their way" in any of these post that I can see.

Watching the Knights consistently roll the Mid War has gotten old and boring, for me, so I have been spending more time in the Blue Arena.

well.......if they change it to a 2 country arena, then we'll probably end up with hordes moreso than now.

the way to fight a horde, is with your own horde. if they leave the combat area, then follow them. sooner or later they'll have to fight.

i could be wrong though. i went to ew yesterday as mentioned in my previous post.

what it actually comes down to, is that if the op doesn't like the game play in mw, then why in gods name would he want to change it? he has at least 5 other choices of arenas to fly and fight in.
if there's people in there, then in all obviousness, there are some that enjoy that game play. trying to have the arena changed to suit him, is pretty much trying to change the game play there....change it to the way HE thinks it should be. so in essence, he's simply trying to tell those 40 to 60 pile-its to play his way.

so i would have to suggest again.......if the op doesn't like the play there, then choose one of the other 5 or so options to fly and fight.
i didn't like it yesterday, so i went to another arena. really really simple.  :aok

btw slap...i'm not trying to get into a pissing match with you............

we did we moved on to late war.and the only reason i said anything in here is because ive flown MW since the split and its sad to see what it turned into. and as for you CAP your not in the game very often to see the whole picture and you dont switch to other countrys so you really are the 1 that dosent have  much to say what goes on in any arena  but only from what you read.

and as for anyone telling anyone how to play the game in any post you write the ho is always coming up. and that is telling people how to play as well .the ho is pretty much a part of the game and it will never change so either learn it or learn to avoid it. or move on to a different online game.

NOOOOOOO you wont find a good fight there.

I guess it depends whether you look hard enough.  Last night I avoided the horde battle at A18 and found some nice 2v1 and 1v1 fights against Snaphook and a couple of other Bishops.  The fight against the two no-named Bishops were nothing more than routine shoot them down affairs but the fights against snaphook made the evening quite enjoyable.

well akak i would have to agree with you there. fighting guys like you are the best fights that can be had in in any arena but the my point is most of the time you fight 1 you fight all.
when any 1 new goes into the midwar arena thats new to the game they land up on the knights and they fly in the horde and learn what ever it takes to take a base attitude and they dont learn basic ACM.
now we get the ho's, the gangbangs whatever.i've been flying in late war and you see the same thing there.i feel the size of the mid war arena is to small for that kind of play. but hey thats fine i've chosen to stay out.

i seem to remember having what was looking like a very good 1-1 with you in p38j's.......till ya ho'd me.

and that's where i don't understand them. you are more than good enough that you don't need to rely on that move. that's why i don't understand the majority of them.....most are by people that are so far beyond the need to do it, but they do anyway.
i also remember a fight that was me vs 4 or 5 of you guys(hg) down low, between 11 and 12. that was a fun fight too.......but then that was back before you started taking this too seriously

you're outnumbered, i understand it. you're rtb, and hurt, i understand it. but 1-1? dude, you're one of the best pile-its i know.......you don't NEED to........that's the point i'm trying to make.
