JU87D Stuka Bomb drop sound

While messing around with sounds many months back I made this one and never did check it out.

Some of the guys said lets go do a Stuka raid on a vbase and when I dropped my bomb I freaked out about the sound it made.

Seems I mixed the bomb drop sound/ bomb falling sound with a Stuka siren sound and until just at that moment i forgot all about it.

at the end it sounds more like the stuka screamers(which i wish we had)

Yes it does. When diving with the Stuka thats the actual sound you would have heard. I suppose i could have made a wind sound from it but for some reason just added it to the bomb sound. I still kind of like it since most of the time you'd be diving to drop the bomb anyway and then quickly pulling up.

I had the dive siren sound before. I had a bit of trouble getting it looped right. Only problem is there isnt a place for it in the Stuka file. Only thing you could do was replace the wind.wav file with the siren. Then when you go on stuka missions just go into options and and turn you wind noise up. I have mine all the way down, but if you replace the wind.wav with the siren you will always here when you are flying anything. I think i still have it somewhere. It just needs to be looped better.

If you drop a custom wind.wav file in any aircraft file, it will only be heard in that aircraft, not all.  It will override the master wind.wav generically used by all aircraft.  Same with check6s, warnings, etc.

just lerned it sounds like we have screamers on the stuka if i go about 250 or 300(in dive) you can hear a screaming sound
