Indy 500 2009
« on: May 24, 2009, 02:08:05 PM »
Kanaan hit the wall again and what a hit! The onboard camera showed him make an adjustment to tune the engine when something on the rear side broke and the nose turned HARD into the wall. The wall has some spring built into it now and it sure looked like thats the only reason he lived through it.

Race isnt even halfway through.

Kudos to Helio. Its great to see some one in victory lane loose their composure and not act like he just passed a dead volvo on the interstate. :aok

Castroneves Wheldon and Patrick all did a great job but Patrick has to be kicking herself for the pit mistake that cost her four positions and still she finished third. The Meira wrap up with the rookie was tragic for him. I just hope he is okay and can return soon but after the wreck all I heard was lower back pain so he should be alright. It was also good to see Fisher finish and I hope she can make a success out of her team.

We had an indy event here on the Gold Coast in Australia, any wonder they canned it, it always precipitated on a major scale (pissing down). One year it hailed hailstones the size of margerine containers. Something that it did do was open up Australian eyes to indy car racing, in my opinion, much better than the formula one crock that they put on.

No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

I wanted to see Wheldon win. But I usually watch, just to see Danica Patrick. Stomp around. hehe. :P
