Airsoft
« on: May 25, 2009, 11:10:06 PM »
I was watching some videos tonight and wondered if the pellets biodegrade. I thought they were plastic. If they are plastic I havent heard any stink over the huge amounts that must be dumped in the woods. Curious.

Most say "Biodegradable" on the package but I don't see them biodegrading in my lifetime.
I used to play in my woods with some pals over 3 years ago.
They look just like they came out of the bag, dirtier of course but still shaped the same.

Get some Florida soil it seems to eat up plastic coke bottles well enough.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

You can buy pellets that are specifically made to be biodegradable.  They cost a little more but don't lie around the yard for years on end.

Most airsoft clubs require you to only use biodegradable pellets.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

Here is an old article, but has some good info on BB's. Check the rest of the site also, there is a forum for it too.
