Did some law get passed this year that you are only allowed to listen to silly electronic Casio keyboard beats and some bozo saying "yeeya" "uhh" "west side" over and over and over and over again? Crappy music is crappy music be it 2009 or 1969.
I can't
believe after this long young people haven't evolved past rap. It was an okay novelty when it came out but now it's just laziness. No lyric or message that means anything (other genres just as guilty, but rap is the worst example). Rap is nothing more than a soundtrack for the "hey everybody look at ME!!!" generation. "Look how bad donut I am!!!" Kids are so clueless these days they haven't even created their own culture, which is what they are
supposed to do and always have. They just get a few more tattoos and "sample" mom and dad's culture in a drum loop and call it theirs.
Embarrassing.
