I think we'll have to wait and see if an American navalized version of the Buffalo is introduced...

I've done a couple more Finnish Brewsters for Wmaker who supplied HTC and myself much of the info for the aircraft, as well as an RAF skin for me.

I figure any Brewster scheme that saw wartime front line service will probably be allowed on this shape, but I could be wrong.

I'm reluctant to commit to any more Brewster skins until other skinners have had a chance to post their intentions.

Positive that FTJR will be doing a RAAF skin.

A few pics that I have other than RAAF.

There's going to be a VERY limited number of US skins that could be done for the Brewster, since only one squadron flew the F2A in combat (VMF-221 at Midway)

The second USMC profile Shifty posted would work. It was flown by Capt. William Humberd during the action of June 4, 1942.

This model kit has been on my shelf unbuilt for 20 years.  Another RAF scheme.  The USN is prewar

Nice find on those Guppy the #3119 plane is the one I posted above I got it from the Australian war memorial site. They list that plane in Malaya at the time the RAF & RAAF planes were in the fight as well.
Only real issue is to figure out what did & didn't see combat.

OH YEAH :D

I found this skin from the VF-3.  The VF-3 Felix the Cat Squad came before VF-6.

Guys, like I said:

If the only skins being allowed are ones that saw combat, your ONLY choice for American birds is going to be VMF-221 at Midway. None of the other US skins would (or at least, SHOULD) be accepted (the RAF, RAAF and Dutch skins would, however).

Not so sure about the Dutch planes I will have to look back at what info I have most of them were never flown in combat with their nations colours on them. If I recall correctly most of them were given to the RAF & RAAF as well a number of them were captured as well.

A number of photos of the Dutch birds, and their combat history in "Bloody Shambles" by Christopher Shores.  Photos of Dutch birds with both types of markings including a line up of captured Dutch and RAF birds.
